Barbed High Resistance CERCAÇO Zn3®

The Cercaço Zn3® Morlan Barbed Wire is the perfect option in case consumers need maximum protection against corrosion and maximum tensile strength.

It is made from heavy zinc layer, especially suitable for regions that require greater protection against corrosion, such as coastal, swampy areas or where occurs acid rain etc (for those who have properties outside these areas or do not need heavy zinc layer barbed wire, Morlan has Nelore Morlan and Cercaço Morlan, both with alternating).

The Cercaço Zn3® Morlan Barbed Wire minimum resistance is 350 kgf an it is indicated for fencing large animals such as cattle and rural fences in general, especially in areas of rugged terrain and mountainous regions, as it allows the construction of fences with curves and unevenness, without compromising the stretching of the fence.

Its extremely sharp barbs are firmly positioned at a distance of 5” (125 mm) from each other (and do not move).

In addition, for greater protection during handling, Cercaço ZN3 Morlan® Barbed Wire is sold in 500 and 250 meter rolls, wrapped in special wrappers, and anatomical handles that facilitating handling and allows stacking at the point of sale. 

Important: when using Cercaço ZN3® Morlan Barbed Wire, also remember to use Morlan Fence Spacers and clamps - quality items that represent economy, resistance, practicality and agility for building the fence.

Morlan was a pioneer in Brazil using this technique to manufacture barbed wires.

In this technique, we use high quality raw material that receives differentiated processing throughout the manufacturing process, resulting in a very high quality and resistant barbed wire with high advantageous cost-benefit ratio for the final consumer.
The alternating twisted barbed wire is made from rope composed of 02 wires - smaller in diameter and, therefore, lighter than those used in the continuous twisting technique - twisted clockwise and counterclockwise successively. 

Its extremely sharp barbs are firmly fixed at a distance of 125 mm from each other, at the points where changes in the direction of twisting occurs, externally, wrapping the barbed rope, so that when the barbed wire is installed and stretched, the barbs work in order to hold the rope while the rope works by keeping the barb in place.

This type of twist allows the fence to be stretched, but the main advantages of this product go far beyond. Manufactured with smaller diameter wires than those used in more rudimentary techniques, the alternating twisting technique results in a lighter barbed - and as in the wire artifacts market weight is a major factor in the formation of the product price, these ones represent a lower cost for the final consumer, with the same quality and resistance as the continuous twist wires.

It is not by chance that alternating twisted barbed wires represent 90% of current barbed wire sales in Brazil.
